Five Below coming to Monroe County, Georgia
Gov. Nathan Deal today announced that Five Below, a leading high-growth value retailer, will create 130 jobs and invest $70 million to build a new distribution center in Monroe County. The initial investment includes $42 million in land and building and approximately $28 million in machinery and equipment. Additional investment will occur over the next five years.

GE Appliances creates jobs in Commerce, GA
Gov. Nathan Deal today announced that GE Appliances, a manufacturer of household appliances, will create 100 jobs and invest $55 million in a new Southeast Region Appliance Distribution Center in Commerce. “Georgia’s business-friendly climate continues to attract manufacturing leaders such as GE Appliances while driving significant investment opportunities across the state,” said Deal.

Gov. Nathan Deal announced that Hanwha Q Cells Korea, a leader in the global solar industry, will create more than 500 jobs and invest $150 million in a new solar module manufacturing faciltiy in Dalton, GA.

Taurus USA to create 300 jobs in Bainbridge, GA
From the Office of the Governor of Georgia – Gov. Nathan Deal today announced that Taurus USA, a leading firearms manufacturer, will create 300 jobs and invest more than $22.5 million in infrastructure and operations to establish a firearms manufacturing plant in Bainbridge.

Facebook to invest $750 million in Stanton Springs data center
Gov. Nathan Deal today announced that Facebook will create at least 100 full-time jobs and invest $750 million in a new data center in Stanton Springs over the next five years. New jobs will include positions in engineering and management, as well as opportunities for data center technicians.
