TSYS to Create 450 Jobs in McDonough

Gov. Nathan Deal announced today that TSYS, a global payments company headquartered in Columbus, will create up to 450 jobs through a new contact center in Henry County.
“TSYS’s decision to expand in Georgia is a testament to our state’s top-ranked business climate and qualified workforce,” said Deal. “Businesses that choose to locate here are finding it easy to expand here, and I have no doubt that our state will continue to provide this growing company with the necessary resources to remain globally competitive.” (more…)

Thomasville Welcomes Oilon

The Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) announced today that Oilon, a Finnish energy and environment technology company, will open its first U.S.-based office and warehouse in Thomasville, creating 50 jobs over the next five years.

Valmiera Glass to create 150 jobs in Dublin

The Cotton Cafe opens in Monroe

After months of renovation and planning, Alexis Burton’s dream of owning her own coffee shop and café became a reality earlier this month in downtown Monroe. Beaulieu International Group to create 350 jobs in Bartow

Governor Nathan Deal announced today Belgium-based Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.) will establish its U.S. headquarters and create 350 jobs in Cartersville over the next five years. The campus will be constructed on 120 acres directly across from the Highland 75 industrial park on land previously owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev. In the first phase, B.I.G. will design and produce 47 million square yards of cushion vinyl for commercial and residential application. (more…)
