Sailfish Boats Manufacturing Headquarters to Expand in Grady County, Create 70 Jobs

Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that Sailfish Boats will invest more than $1 million and increase their workforce by more than 30% as they expand their manufacturing headquarters in Grady County. This investment at Sailfish Boats and in Grady County will create 70 jobs in southwest Georgia and results from a sharp increase in customer demand for fishing and recreational boats.

Freshly to Open Their First Southeastern U.S. Facility in Austell, Create 250 Jobs

Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that fresh-prepared meal delivery service Freshly Inc. is investing $3.2 million in opening a distribution facility in Austell. The company will bring on 150 employees during the initial operating phase and plans to hire at least 250 at the Cobb facility by the end of 2021. The 134,000-square-foot facility will be Freshly’s largest dedicated order-assembly facility to date and will begin operating in mid-February.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome this rapidly growing meal delivery service brand to the Peach State,” said Governor Kemp.

Automotive Supplier JinTech America Opens First U.S. Facility in West Point, Creating 70 Jobs

Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that JinTech America, a supplier of interior automobile parts, will invest nearly $4.5 million in opening their first U.S. advanced manufacturing facility in West Point, Georgia, creating 70 jobs in Harris County.

Hyundai TRANSYS to Invest More Than $240 Million in West Point Expansion, Create 678 Jobs

Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that Hyundai TRANSYS, a world-renowned producer of automotive parts, will invest more than $240 million in expanding their operations in Georgia, creating 678 full-time long-term positions at a new manufacturing facility in the West Point area.

“Our No. 1 business climate, alongside our robust logistics network and top-ranked workforce training programs, are not only attracting global companies to the Peach State, but also retaining existing industries and helping them grow here,” said Governor Kemp.

Georgia-based FiberVisions Invests $48 Million in Expanding Covington Operations

Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that Georgia-based FiberVisions, a subsidiary of Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited and a major employer in Covington for more than 50 years, will invest $48 million in expanding its polyolefin fiber manufacturing operations in Newton County.

This expansion, which comes in response to a sharp increase in demand for hygiene products made with bicomponent fibers such as face masks and baby wipes, will create 21 additional jobs.
