Morgan’s role on the ECG Economic and Community Development team consists of implementing comprehensive data analyses designed to support site-development and market research for the recruitment, retention, and attraction activities of various industry segments. She is also responsible for the development and maintenance of existing customers and potential customer intelligence directly related to supporting statewide and community economic development efforts.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Georgia Southern University, Morgan eagerly stepped into economic development directly after graduation. Prior to working with ECG, Morgan served as the Economic Research Manager and grant administrator at Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA) where she discovered her passion for economic development and supporting the various industries in the number one State for Doing Business – Georgia.
During her time at SEDA, Morgan worked with all departments by managing, collecting, and preparing all relevant data, responding to requests for information, writing and administrating both Federal and State grants, and utilizing GIS-based mapping applications and other resources to visualize data and information. In her free time, Morgan enjoys experiencing new food and culture while traveling and going on long walks with her Berne doodle, Bean.
