Jindal Films Americas relocates to LaGrange, GA

Governor Nathan Deal announced today that Jindal Films Americas LLC (JFA), a global leader in the manufacturing of specialty films for packaging and labels, will relocate its U.S. Research and Development Center and national headquarters to Troup County.  JFA will expand an existing manufacturing facility in LaGrange, creating 240 jobs and investing $180 million in the community. For the third year in a row, Georgia takes first place in Site Selection’s annual ranking of state business climates. Georgia’s access to global markets through air, sea, rail and highway networks makes the state desirable for companies.

Custom Ag Formulars coming to Adel, GA

November 2, 2015 – Mayor Buddy Duke, chairman of the Cook County Economic Development Commission, and commission members, announced today that Custom Ag Formulators, Inc. has made a major investment in Adel.  The company, whose corporate office is located in Fresno, CA, will construct a new facility in Cook County’s 3000 acre South Georgia Megasite.  (more…)

Sandler AG Brings 140 new jobs to Houston County

September 24, 2015 – Governor Nathan Deal announced today during an economic development mission to Germany that Sandler AG, a German textile supplies, will complete construction of a manufacturing plant in Perry, Georgia.  This represents an investment of more than $30 million and will create more than 140 new jobs in Houston County.
