The Economic and Community Development Office at ECG, is strengthening its mission to provide ample resources for our Georgia Energy Cities, serving as a single point of contact to provide both timely and effective statewide industrial site selection assistance. It is with this in mind that we welcome two new faces.

Mark Elliott and Chad Charping join our team as Industrial Development Project Managers, working with Grant Cagle, Manager, Industrial Project Management. They will assist companies in matching their project needs with Georgia properties and communities, organizing site visits, and facilitating meetings between company executives and state and local representatives. ECG’s enhanced focus to bring growth to Georgia, be it expansion, relocation, or new business, helps keep Georgia ranked the #1 state for doing business.

Mark comes to ECG having served as a Field Representative for Congressman Jody Hice (GA-10). Originally from Warner Robins, Georgia, Mark received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Logistics from Georgia College and State University.

“I am thrilled to be joining the ECG Economic & Community Development team,” said Elliott. “I can’t wait to work with our partners to bring economic development to the best state in the nation!”

Chad brings a wealth of knowledge from his Finance background to ECG. Originally from Milledgeville, Georgia, Chad received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Georgia Southern University.

“I’m really excited to join the ECG team working in Economic and Community Development,” said Charping. “I am looking forward to partnering with our communities and representing the state of Georgia.”
