ECG’s Office of Economic & Community Development monthly assembles a list of current grants and funding opportunities that may be relevant to your needs. Highlighted are program offerings by the U.S. Small Business Administration Paycheck Protection Program and the Robert W. Woodruff Foundation Grant. We update this regularly and will continue to share information about additional funding opportunities. 


Small Business Administration Paycheck Protection Program Loan
Grantor: U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)

Due: August 8, 2020 (updated deadline)

The Paycheck Protection Program is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll. SBA will forgive loans if all employees are kept on the payroll for eight weeks and the money is used for payroll, rent, mortgage interest, or utilities. Robert W. Woodruff Foundation Grant
Grantor: Robert W. Woodruff

Due: August 15, 2020 (updated deadline)

The Robert W. Woodruff Foundation is an independent private foundation that seeks to improve the quality of life in Georgia by investing in health, education, economic opportunity and community vitality. In any given year, the Foundation may receive more than 350 grant requests. Due to program priorities and rigorous evaluation, about one in seven requests is approved for funding.
