Community Heart & Soul is a resident-driven process that engages the entire population of a town in identifying what they love most about their community, what future they want for it, and how to achieve it. The Seed Grant Program provides start-up funding for resident-driven groups in small cities and towns looking to implement the Community Heart & Soul model. Grant funding of $10,000 requires a 1:1 cash match. Eligible uses include:

• Project-Related Expenses
• Heart & Soul Coaching
• Project Coordination

Verizon Digital Ready
Small Business Ready Grant

The Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Grant is part of Verizon’s commitment to equip one million small businesses with the tools and resources they need to thrive in today’s digital economy, ultimately strengthening their local communities. 

In addition to the hundreds of hours of free courses, coaching sessions, and networking opportunities offered through the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready program, Verizon, in partnership with LISC will award a total of $500,000 in grant funding during this grant period. Fifty (50) grantees will each receive a $10,000 grant, further advancing Verizon’s commitment to support small businesses.
