New Distribution Center in Forest Park, GA
One of the world’s largest grocery retailers investing more than $175 million over the next five years; Governor Nathan Deal announced The Kroger Co. will locate to a new distribution center in Forest Park, GA. The 120 new jobs at the facility will include warehouse, security transportation management and other maintenance positions.
ECG’s Project Manager Lonnie Smallwood said, “Georgia’s logistical advantages, combined with the unique opportunity to help redevelop the former Fort Gillem site, makes Forest Park an ideal location for Kroger to establish this distribution facility. It was a pleasure working with everyone involved I making this exciting project a reality.”
