Rebecca O’Neal is a GIS Analyst with ECG on their Economic and Community Development Department team. Rebecca assists in preparing, designing, and implementing digitized maps and related materials to support investment and job creation in Georgia communities. She is responsible for managing, researching, and quality assurance for all mapping products.
Prior to joining ECG, Rebecca was a GIS Technician and Data Manager at Quantum Spatial where she worked to collect, process, and analyze geospatial data across multiple disciplines. She worked on projects ranging from electric utilities in Texas to beach re-nourishment in the Gulf of Mexico, providing asset management support to QSI’s clients. She also has experience working at the Georgia Department of Transportation, consulting with the Office of Transportation Data to aid in the migration of ESRI’s Roads and Highways.
Rebecca is a graduate from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Geography and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems. She lives in Kennesaw, GA with her husband, Josh and Australian Cattle dog, Luna. They enjoy camping, hiking, Tennis Ball Battle, “Where is Moose-Cow?” and jogging. She loves being outdoors and in fact, whenever she is not indoors, she is outdoors.
