Economic Development


Mill is the Director of Economic Development managing business recruitment and project management for ECG’s collective industrial, commercial, and retail services. Specializing in the recruitment of new industry to the state of Georgia for the purpose of job creation and capital investment, Mill also facilitates retail-commercial development opportunities and site selection assistance in ECG communities.

Through partnerships with Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Georgia Allies and other site-selection professionals, the ECG economic development team assists companies by matching their project needs with relevant properties and communities, managing site and building visits, and facilitating meetings with state and local decision makers. In addition, ECG’s team provides strategic assistance and resources to communities marketing themselves to prospective companies.

Prior to joining ECG, Mill served as Lead Analyst and Property Manager for a real estate investment company in Athens, GA. Mill has work experience in public and private sector planning and development. A native of Lexington, KY, Mill received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Davidson College and a Master of City and Regional Planning from Clemson University.

Mill lives in Brookhaven with his wife Julianne and their yellow lab Huck. In his spare time he enjoys fly-fishing and getting outdoors as often as possible.
