The Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Workforce Division administers the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds under the leadership of the State Workforce Development Board (SWDB).  The office also focuses on the broader mission of ensuring that education and training in Georgia is geared toward in-demand jobs, leading several macro-level programs and initiatives that improve our state workforce development system as a whole.
