Georgia is ready for business and ECG’s Office of Economic & Community Development is here to assist your company in making your move a success with economy of scale resources and a wide range of services. Our team will serve as a single point of contact while providing both timely and effective site selection assistance.
ECG is a membership organization representing the 52 electric utility communities of Georgia. Our members provide electricity to over 300,000 customers, representing more than 2,000 megawatts of electricity sold each year. MEAG Power provides reliable, competitive wholesale electricity to the majority of our members.
We also represent the Gas Authority member communities of Georgia, with our newest collaboration, Georgia Energy Cities, bringing together more communities to continue providing additional energy resources for success. The Gas Authority is the largest non-profit natural gas joint action agency in the U.S. providing for more than 250,000 customers across five states
Our goal is to bring growth to Georgia, be it expansion, relocation, or new business. Your business needs are paramount, and we support your efforts to find the most suitable location for growth. We also provide support to our member communities in their individual economic development efforts including retail-commercial development assistance and community development services.
